Team Leader

Having begun my career in substance use over 15 years ago as a volunteer for Gwent Alcohol Project I’ve never looked back. During my time in this field, I have worked primarily with young people, but have also gained experience in family and adult services. I am now a Team Leader for Gwent N-gage supporting the Training, Engagement and Activity strands of the service. What makes me most happy in my role is being part of a team who support young people and their families to make changes which positively impact their lives.
Area of interest: Transitions (I’m still a firm advocate of this support)
Random fact: I served Sunday lunch to Eddie Izzard’ – he was lovely by the way!
